if you need more control and customization over taskbar then i would u suggest to use the taskbar x configurator. This will stop the TaskbarX process and put your icons back to the left. You can also download a Taskbar X skin (here i have modified the Rainmeter Neutral Skin -which is modified from transparent to blur for personal preference) its just an easier method to enable the taskbar x, even though it will be running the taskbar x in the background, it just saves time by not downloading Taskbar X separately. Open the 'TaskbarX Configurator' and hit the 'Stop TaskbarX' button.
